Hey listeners,
It's DJ Ashley again. I just wanted to apologize for the hiatus and sporadic broadcasting this past week.
I became ill after coming back from my weekend away. Since then I have either been too sick to broadcast or do much of anything or taking care of my nephew.
Friday he gave a guest jock break while I had him and during that show. At this time I do not forsee any time that would not be broadcast except when I am asleep since I am still the only DJ at the moment.
Again I apologize and thank you for listening to ART Shuffle.
I am putting some ideas into concrete plans and hope to bring you some diversity to the station. A show dedicated to Pocketpumapets possibly, a show about the candidates in this years election as well as a 7 things of Kevin Bacon related show. I hope this will up my listeners as well as give me a chance to try new things and have some guests on my show.
I have added photos of me on my new photobucket account, ARTAshley. It includes a video of my nephew when he was my guest host and went on air as well as photos of him before he went on air.

ART Shuffle Radio Station
ART Shuffle Radio Station is my online radio station. It stands for my intials as of when my marriage is legalized in June of this year. I always wanted to have a special show that was dedicated to the music on my ipod and then just shuffled through with no reason why two songs connected or just picking my absolute favorites.
This is my special show idea in a radio station. As my station grows I plan to add a talk portion that will be weekly. I will talk about stuff that is important to me as well as world issues and since baseball season is around the corner probably some Texas Rangers opinions by me.
I currently am the sole DJ on my station and am looking for someone who I can trust to be my counterpart to run a show similiar to mine or add something new. As such my station will have downtime until I find someone suitable for that position. I will be taking requests but if it is a song I haven't heard then before I play it on my station I must first preview it.
The station has many different genres and the reason for that is that I listen to many different kinds of music. I believe that music should connect to you either by an experience, and emotion or maybe to your favorite movie or tv show that makes you happy. Music is about a connection and should never be "elevator music or on hold." I hate elevator music and music played while on hold as its there to appease you and not realize how long the trip up or down the building is or how long you are on hold.
So I invite all of my friends, family and friends of friends and strangers to check out my station. If you like what you hear please tune in as much as possible and send me comments and suggestions on my station. Tell me what you like and what you don't. Tell me what you want to hear in song request or in talk shows. If you have a point of view you'd like to share let me know and I'll see what I can do about giving you a time to say it on my station.
